Born in 1992, HV$VH lives and works in the West of France where he grew up. Lulled by the experiences of an alchemist father and a painter mother, it was natural that he took his turn in « le grand oeuvre ». Multiplying pseudonyms to cover his tracks, he hides in his works clues linking these different artistic practices in order to speak to the initiated.
As a perfectionist, he wishes to remain master of the image and sound that he links in his practice and through his vocabulary. Thus his experiments speak the same language.
It is by listening to his mother talking to him about painting that he set up
the vocabulary that he will later retranscribe in his music.
In this latest EP he releases on Santé Records, he compiles research conducted in his studio over the last few years. The tools he uses are multiple, ranging from the classical synthesizer to modern tools such as the personal computer or the smartphone.
Rare on stage, this regular of exhibitions and artistic performances works in collective. The record he offers us condenses surprising melodies and rhythmic drifts.
